Our water is full of different minerals and over time deposits can build up in your faucet causing the spray to change patterns or weaken. A simple fix for these issues is cleaning out the faucet aerator once every few months. We’ve broken down the cleaning process into three easy steps…
How to clean out a faucet aerator in 3 easy steps:
- Remove the aerator from the nozzle outlet using the key. Speakman supplies these keys for all of our faucets. If you can’t find it, don’t worry, just call our customer service department at 1.800.537.2107 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for Part number 05-1899.
- Run the aerator under running water until sediment build-up is free and aerator is clean. If the running water alone is not enough, we suggest brushing the aerator with a toothbrush (not your own of course!).
- Insert the aerator back into the nozzle outlet and you’re all set.
